About the Dragon Tales Series

Dav Pilkey‘s Dragon Tales series is a pure delight to follow the lives of a good-hearted, a bit awkward, and very lovable blue dragon. Specifically made for early readers, these books are one of Scholastic’s Acorn line books, which means they are made to nurture the child’s reading skills and give them the pleasure of reading. Simple words, short chapters, bright pictures on every page, and lots of gentle humor that makes both kids and parents smile are features of each book.

However, the real thing that makes the series so special is the love it brings. The warmth is there in the stories, no matter if Dragon is trying to help a cat without a home, learning to be a good friend, or dealing with small everyday challenges. The kids adore these characters and find it amusing to see a dragon struggle with seemingly ‘normal’ things and at the same time get so much fun and warmth in the process.
