About the Supper Club Mystery Series

This series Supper Club Mystery by Ellery Adams is set in Quincy Gap, Virginia. It’s one of those places that looks quiet but something’s always going on. The main guy, James Henry, is a librarian. He’s smart, a little awkward and trying to lose weight. He joins a diet club but things don’t go as planned. Instead of just eating healthy he and his friends end up solving murders. Yeah, I know it sounds crazy but it works.

In addition to being entertaining and cozy, the books keep you guessing. Food, camaraderie, a hint of romance, and mystery are all present. Some sections will make you hungry (there are recipes too), while others will make you laugh or feel sad. In one book, a cooking class turns deadly, and in another, there’s a barbecue festival that features more than just ribs.

Actually it is a great series if you are into small town stories with characters that feel real. James isn’t a superhero. He’s just a regular guy trying to deal with life, love and a lot of weird crimes.
