About the Rite Series
The Rite Trilogy by A. Zavarelli and Natasha Knight is a hauntingly intense and emotional 3 book series that explores the darker side of romance set in a mysterious, secretive world known as The Society – a world built on backroom deals, privilege and a dark tradition of getting what you want no matter the cost. This trilogy includes His Rule, Her Rebellion, and Their Reign and follows the tumultuous story of Mercedes De La Rosa and Judge Montgomery .
In a world where men rule with an iron fist and women are just pawns to be used and discarded – men who are basically crowned kings and women treated as nothing but playthings – Mercedes has always felt like there has to be more to life than what’s been laid out for her by The Society and it’s legacy of control. But that just means nothing in a place like this. One small misstep changes everything and before she knows it she is trapped in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a man who is both her captor and her only comfort – Judge, her brothers best friend, and her sworn enemy.
Judge is a man who is cold as stone, commanding and utterly in control of every situation. His rules are like a cast iron rod – he doesn’t bend, and Mercedes has no choice but to play along. What starts out as a battle of wills between the two of them gradually spirals out of control into something far more complicated, and a whole lot darker than either of them had anything to say about. It’s a world of pain and passion, hatred and desire – the perfect storm that literally can’t be stopped.
Although The Rite Trilogy can be read as a standalone, for the full dark romance experience you might want to start from scratch with The Society Trilogy. But however you go about it , just be prepared to be drawn into a world of secrets, seduction, and a love that will leave a lasting impression on you long after you’ve finished reading.
